"Nine years together. Finally getting married."
No fanfare. No big day wedding hype. Just Amy and Tom at Merricks General Store with their friends and family. Summer storms rolled through, thunder in the distance, balmy air, but the weather didn't faze them. They were in their element. If I could describe the few hours I spent with them in one word it would be peaceful. Lots of space in the schedule. No mad rush to leave the house. Everyone on the same page. I tried to represent that feeling in the images, a mix of black and white and toned down saturation, letting the coastal location and their clothes do the talking. After nine years together they said they were most looking forward to enjoying everyone's company and finally getting married. That's it. That's the whole thing.
